Or should I say clever and silly? Overall, not bad, but I wasn’t enthralled. A boy who rebels against the family authority, and lives, loves and dies on top of the trees. I was more than half way through and wasn’t particularly enjoying it, so I’m going to go ahead and declare it “read,” and if it decides to come back to me, I’ll maybe finish it emphasis on maybe and probably not change my opinion.

View all 5 comments. Maybe it’s a little too afraid to be unrealistic to be good as a fairytale. I think the idea is clever, and I think if the book were a children’s novel, and written accordingly, it would be much more enjoyable.
